There are no exact recipes for Pocket Pita fillings. You can have whatever you think taste good together and enjoy your Pocket Pita experience. Foodies would know what to do and how to do this.
For the Pocket Pita I prepared, I used a time-tested recipe that the children love to eat: Crispy Chicken Fingers
Procedure:
- Heat a Pocket Pita on a flat frying pan without oil, about 1 – 2 minutes on each side.
- Carefully cut the Pocket Pita in half. Cut through the bread to have an opening for the filling.
- I used put tomato, cucumber and onion salsa and sliced Crispy Chicken Fingers as the fillings. I added a little Japanese mayo on top.
For this serving, a warm turmeric, ginger and lemon slice infused drink with honey was paired.
