For a limited time this Lenten season, Yoshinoya is offering (Century) Bangus Kabayaki:
Yoshinoya Bangus Kabayaki is Century Bangus boneless belly fillet, cooked with kabayaki sauce, served with beansprouts over rice. I like the flavorful and sweet sauce. The fish is fleshy and not “fishy”. The combination with toge or mongo sprouts was just right. Price: PhP140.00
I prefer this Bangus Kabayaki better than the Shrimp katsu though.
Have this yummy dish with green tea pictured above or apple green tea, pictured below. (It is Lent and you want to not drink soda for the entire religious season right?).
Personally I like the apple green tea better than just the green tea.
Yoshinoya introduced Bangus Kabayaki last March 9, Ash Wednesday.
Kabayaki is typically unagi or freshwater eel but Yoshinoya which is under the Century Pacific Group used one of their products Century Bangus Belly fillet, to use for Bangus Kabayaki.
I personally buy Century frozen fish selections specifically Bangus Tocino from the supermarket. Now have another yummy dish to copy and prepare than the usual fried bangus belly fillet.
