The children love to have home-baked goodies to munch on. Though I haven’t been baking much these past weeks, I saw this photo of oatmeal cookies and sliced apples I once (or several times in the past) packed for snacks in school.
In the background are orange juice and milk as beverage. They bring water too of course.
As much as possible, my school children get a variety of food choices to bring for school. Not easy on the budget but their health comes first and that means giving them healthy choices.
