or Beef Enoki Rolls. My after mopping-the-house lunch treat to myself.

Beef Enoki Rolls

Whichever way this is called, the two main ingredients would be enoki or golden mushrooms and breakfast beef (or sukiyaki thinly sliced beef used in shabu-shabu)

Beef Enoki Rolls

I got a pack of Enoki (around PhP47.50 or so) from the supermarket. I also got some sukiyaki cut beef. So here goes:

These are the enoki beef rolls after the beef has been wrapped around the enoki. I used a toothpick to keep the meat in place.

Ingredients:

  • thinly sliced beef or sukiyaki
  • 1 pack of Enoki mushroom
  • sauce for marinade: oyster sauce, soy sauce and black pepper

Pan-fry the enoki beef rolls in a pan that’s very hot. Be sure to turn the rolls to cook the meat on all sides. Serve immediately.

I did not blanch the enoki before I cooked these. The mushrooms taste good with the beef. The kids loved it when I did another batch for dinner.
