One of the bestsellers in this household is the the Watermelon Shake.

Procedure:

Cut watermelon in small cubes and freeze. This was two cups frozen watermelon plus a cup of water in the blender.Blitz until desired consistency is reached.

  • significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C,
  • lots of lycopene,
  • antioxidants
  • amino acids
  • modest amount of potassium.

Watermelon is also fat-free, very low in sodium and has only 40 calories per cup.

Better drink watermelon shake than a bottle of sugar-rich drinks.
