I saw a post on Facebook about baked cauliflower florets and I tried to make one for lunch today. I wasn’t able to remember what was done with that recipe so I made my own. The family loved it and one child even requested that I prepare it for packed lunch.
Ingredients:
1 whole head of cauliflower, divided in small florets (for cleaning, I soaked the florets for around 10 minutes in water with rock salt and rinsed these afterwards)
a little bit of olive oil
spices: freshly ground black pepper and a few dashes of granulated garlic, paprika, turmeric and sea salt.
Procedure:
Put the cauliflower florets in a bowl and add the olive oil. Toss together till the florets are coated with the oil.
Put these on a baking dish and add the spices
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Serve warm.
The cauliflower florets were delicious with a bit of crunch.
