I am not a good cook nor do I pretend to be. Not that I am putting myself down but I know my limitations, I know my cooking experiment hits and misses.
From someone who almost burned down a pot while boiling water, I think I’ve done good considering I don’t really have that innate talent to whip up excellent dishes without the aid of a recipe book or a verbal consultation with those in the know. or yeah, a quick glimpse at online cooking sites. Perhaps it is the thought of washing all those utensils I’ve used and maybe washing the plates afterward which makes me not make a go at this endeavor.
There’s one thing I do know: my family love what I cook for them.
So now that I venture into a new chapter of blogging via food posts, I hope I can be qualified to be called a “food blogger (whatever that means)” because I do not only love to take food photos and love to eat good food (most of it I prepared and/or paid for) but I try to cook food too, immersing myself in the smells, flavors and a myriad of sensations that makes the gustatory senses tickled.
I don’t really follow exact measurements as I cook, only when I bake, so I will not be putting exact measures here, only guesstimates.
I’d love my family to feel the love and passion as we share the bounty ๐
