Strawberry Milkshake

April 1st, 2014

Milkshakes and smoothies make summer days tolerable, yes? Aside from quenching the thirst and providing nutrients for the body, milkshakes and smoothies are easy to make and relatively cheap when prepared at home than buying those prepared elsewhere where artificial sweeteners are added.

Presenting: STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE

Strawberry Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • a handful of washed and  frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of water (you can opt to not add water if you are adding ice cubes)
  • 3-4 T of yogurt (you can opt not to put this in because it will add to the sourness of the strawberries)
  • 3-4T or more of condensed milk (for those who want it sweeter because strawberries are not really sweet and because you put in some yogurt)

NOTE: you can opt to use just milk and water/ice cubes. The idea is to mix the strawberries and milk together, that’s about it.

Procedure:

Put everything in a blender: water first if you will use it OR ice cubes last if you will use ice cubes.

Blitz till desired consistency is achieved.
