Baked Egg

January 15th, 2015

Baked egg for breakfast is something new to us who are used to fluffy scrambled eggs or sunny side up.

Baked Egg

Procedure:

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Apply some olive oil on the inside lining of your ramekins.

Put an egg each in the ramekins and season with salt and pepper (I seasoned with salt and paprika).

You can also add other ingredients that have been precooked like bell peppers, spinach, garlic and other vegetables.

Put these on a baking dish with water reaching almost halfway the outside part of the sides of the ramekins. (To avoid the ramekins from slipping and bumping each other, I placed tissue papers under each ramekin)

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.

Serve immediately with other breakfast food. Our baked eggs were served with French Toasts and sliced oranges.
