The Bar Citrus Tequila Cocktail Drink

October 5th, 2011

We have a bottle of The Bar Citrus Tequila from 7-Eleven delivered several months ago. The bottle has remained unopened because we don’t really drink alcoholic beverage in our household.

I decided to put this bottle to good use by making a mixed drink:

Lemon/Tequila Cocktail

Here was what I mixed:

  • 1 freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/ cup alkaline water (wasn’t able to buy soda water, if this is what is used with this cocktail)
  • 1 cup The Bar Citrus Tequila
  •  2T sugar
  • mint leaves for garnish

Mix and pour in an old-fahioned glass and add ice cubes. Kampai!

I think I should have strained the cocktails to remove the lemon pulp but I didn’t, not sure about this, scratches head.
