Tinapa Fried Rice

July 29th, 2011

Tinapa fried rice is divine! This bowl of Tinapa Fried Rice was from Kanin Club at UP-Ayala Technohub.

Tinapa Fried Rice

I’ve cooked this at home and I guess we were all too excited to eat we forgot to take photos.

Here’s what I did:

  • I flaked half a big bangus tinapa.
  • Sauteed minced garlic and half the tinapa flakes in olive oil
  • I fried the rice in the pan
  • Tinapa fried rice was topped with more tinapa flakes and scrambled egg cut in small pieces.

I hope to do this soon and not forget to take photos ๐Ÿ™‚

my sons aren’t really tinapa fans…pero maybe if i cook something similar (flaked and cooked with scrambled eggs) they’d try it!

what we do at home is instead of tinapa, we use dried fish (bisugo) coz that’s what my sis likes! then mix with garlic rice…
